Names & Clan Tag

ACE Clan acknowledge that game to game there may be different commonly accepted ways to identify yourself as associated with a Clan.

It is expected where possible and appropriate, all Clan members must display the Clan tag.

It is expected the tag will be in the following order of preference, based on length: ACEClan.ORG ➜ ACEClan ➜ ACE

where possible you should use the longest format first, shortening until it fits in the allowed space.

 

Clan Tags are to be considered mandatory in all officially supported Regiments, they are otherwise otional.

 

Built-In Feature of the Game

This is the preferred option if the Game's settings facilitate this,

however the clan tag must be displayed prominently within the game once set (for example on the Scoreboard).

 

If you are required to Register or Create a Clan, please contact a member of that Regiment's command staff, or the Director of Regiments.

DO NOT REGISTER A CLAN ON OUR BEHALF.

 

Prefixing your Username/Display Name

We appreciate that everyone has a preferred way to display a clan tag,

however we like to ensure a consistent and uniform appearance to make us stand out.

 

Members of the clan are not generally expected to amend their name to fit the tag,

though we do acknowledge in some cases this may be necessary,

you should shorten the clan tag first, if you get to the shortest "ACE",

it is at this time you are expected to shorten your display name to make the clan tag fit.

 

To ensure a consistent appearance, the tag should be displayed between squared brackets ➜ [ and ], for example:

[ACEClan.ORG] CrazyShooter

[ACEClan] CrazyShooter

[ACE] CrazyShooter

 

If squared brackets are not possible, no brackets should be used at all, resulting in, for example:

ACEClan.ORG CrazyShooter

ACEClan CrazyShooter

ACE CrazyShooter
