Admissions handles all of the new enlistments into the clan and reviews applications to ensure candidates are a good fit for the clan. The admissions department is a vital part of the clan, as these are the first people new visitors will usually interact with. Be aware, any user can apply for this position, regardless of rank. If the application is accepted, the applicant will be promoted up to the minimum rank requirement on appointment to their position. This position posting can also be used for the Assistant Director of Admissions, with the exception of minimum rank requirement, and the maximum rank the assistant can promote up to without authorization from the Director. This involves prospecting the idea to clan members and encouraging people to apply to the position of admissions officer. Handle applications for the department. Review the candidates details whom has applied to become an admissions officer, and ensure they meet the minimum requirements for your department. The director of admissions can use their discretion and allow enlisted grade members to apply if they feel they are a good fit, but the applicant must be promoted to the minimum rank of Sergeant by the Director once accepted. Oversee and train admissions officers in the department. This includes onboarding new officers and teaching them how all our systems work to be able to do their duties. When major changes are released on the website or to any of the enlistment process, the Director will be given a tour of the changes, and these must be passed down to the team. Publish a weekly promotion ledger on the forums of all enlisted grade promotions / demotions / discharges over the prior week. The website can handle most of this automatically, so all that is required is a quick overview of the data before publishing. Promote the admissions officers if they are doing a great job within the clan. These promotions for departments are separate from regimental promotions, and can be done at any time based of the Directors discretion. A director within Central Command can promote any member of the clan, regardless if they in their department, up to the maximum rank listed above without authorization. Any rank beyond the maximum must be approved by the Commander-In-Chief beforehand. Ensure the admissions officers are fulfilling their duties by accepting applications, teaching new enlisted members the structure of the clan, so that they can go on to pass the enlisted grade exam to be promoted out of Enlisted grade. It is also a responsibility of an admissions officer to advertise the clan where possible. Monitor the advertisement sources section on the website, and make sure the clan has good visibility. General day-to-day management of the department. We allow all directors to run their department as they see fit. A director will ensure the department is active, professional and follows the standards setout by the Code of Conduct. As long as the department is functioning well and benefits the clan at all times, the director has free reign.
