Office Office of Regiments Reports To Director of Regiments Leadership Role Yes Can Promote Members Without Authorization To Sergeant Major of the Army Minimum Rank For Position (Second Lieutenant) APPLY HERE Responsibilities: Manage all Non-Commissioned Officers and Commissioned Officers who belong to their regiment. Ensure activity is kept up and work with users who show little activity to work out how to improve. As a CO, you are expected to promote your members if they deserve it. You can promote up to the rank of SMA without authorization, but can request authorization from the Director of Regiments if you want to promote higher than that. Demote or discharge any users who have lost interest or do not wish to partake in activities, or has gone AWOL. Work with Public Relations to create regular events for your regiment members. This could be an in-game tournament with prizes funded by the clan, or a race to get the highest score or achievements in a set time. The idea here is to make the games fun for everyone as much as possible. Interact with your members in discord. Just because you are now a 2Lt, doesn't mean you have to ignore people and let others start conversations. Do as much as possible to make your discord category active and stand out from the rest. Keep a track of new members coming into your regiment. Most people will come in as a Corporal straight out of enlisted grade. Our clan is very unique to others, so spend a few minutes chatting to your new member, and ask if they have any questions. Give them some tips on how to find players in discord, or how to use the forum to post screenshots / videos. If your regiment has gameservers, you will be responsible for administrating them, and configuring settings how you think fit. Post fortnightly updates on the forum of who you have promoted or demoted recently. Its good to keep everyone in the loop of what is going on, and give credit where due. Identify any member who has gone above and beyond in your regiment, and issue awards of service when you see fit. Work with the Director of Regiments to appoint an Executive Officer to your regiment. This should be someone competent and trustworthy who will take the reins when you are absent. Generally, your regiment is yours. You can run it how you want as long as it benefits the clan in some way. We want people to have lots of fun, and engage as much as possible. So keep things running smooth, and ensure everyone follows the Code of Conduct.
